Life at Lammack is very exciting!
Lammack is the largest primary school in Blackburn. We have just under 500 children, 25 teachers, 15 classroom support assistants, 4 secretaries, 13 welfare staff, 3 cleaners and 6 kitchen staff. There are 2-3 classes in each year group and teachers have a range of skills, experience and enthusiasm.
Our children work very hard in lessons, they are set regular homework and their parents are asked to help them at home. We also have a lot of fun! There are dressing up days, competitions and enrichment afternoons. We have many visitors to school.
We are equipped to a very high standard and the children enjoy a range of resources to help them learn including computers, interactive whiteboards and digital cameras. We welcome children of all backgrounds, faiths, cultures and abilities. We celebrate diversity and feel this gives our school a very distinct and special ethos.
